This is an awesome product for yourself or for a gift. Use this for an event where you would take several photos, (birthday, anniv., communion, grad., shower, kid's party, amusement park, zoo, waterpark) or vacation!The finished product that you will get back will be a professionally edited photo-video DVD of the photos from "your" event with motion and special effects and the MUSIC OF YOUR CHOICE from I-tunes--not generic elevator music! And, this is just not your typical slideshow! In your package you get a memory card that fits in your camera (make sure you know which one to order by checking your digital camera, first); slip the card in your camera, take your pictures at the event (they allow 30, but you can add more if you'd like for a small fee); fill out the enclosed form with your name, address, choose a title (e.g., "Hawaii, 2008"); your choice of song and artist, put the memory card with your photos in the prepaid envelope, and drop it in the mail. Awesome and Easy Photo Video
Fodeo is the easiest means I have found to create a video from photos set to the music of my choice. I organized a party for my daughters after final exams and all I had to do was give them a camera with a Fodeo chip and encourage them to take as many pictures as they wanted. Afterwards, I selected the best photos that I wanted to have on the video, select a favorite song and then mail it to Fodeo in the pre-addressed package. 5) Do I get to keep all of the photos on this media card?

Great product and service
Awesome product! My brothers and I were having a surprise 80th birthday party for our mom and I bought a FODEO memory card. Before she arrived we made sure we got pictures of all the guests, just casual stuff. When she got there, boy was she surprised, and we caught that too. More pictures of her with former neighbors, bridge group ladies, country club friends, and a big group photo. I sent the card in, (after I saved all the pictures to my computer just in case) and a few days later I got an email and a link to check my order. I chose this really good pic of mom and the four boys for the cover, added a bunch more pictures and 2 songs, it was pretty cheap and really easy. A week later I got the DVD, took it over to my mom's, and we sat down to watch it on TV together. Her reaction was better than the party. This is not like getting your pictures on a disc from Walmart. You just put it in your DVD player, hit play, and it runs like a movie. I'm buying another FODEO to take to my nephew's wedding next month.

Very poor material quality
Product works fine for some weeks, but the plastic outside is of very poor quality, so it broke after some time of usage.

Better prefer: Sandisk MicroMate Reader-for Memory Stick

BEST Memory Stick (Pro) Duo USB transfer device EVER!
Exporting pics from the Sony Digital camera was way too complicated for this simple but necessary step. The cord supplied uses lots of battery power and for me, it's only use will be the video and audio outputs from recorded MPEGS.
I had another memory stick adaptor, GE's Memory Stick USB but it also was made to accept other memory cards and getting the Memory Stick Duo RAM card took many attempts for a good connection.
The IOGEAR is simple, sleek and the memory stick slides in good and firm. Sony's software recognizes it and loads automatically.
Best solution! I would recommend it highly.

Works, but not on printer with Direct Print from USB
I bought this to replace an MS PRO adapter that failed, and it does work well, reads and writes fast, on my computers.

I also bought this to quickly print from USB on my Brother laser printer with Direct Print. A plain USB flash drive works, but this USB reader does not work in the printer's USB input. I learned online that some USB readers do not work like a plain USB drive as they have a USB hub function. May be the case with this reader.
