This is an awesome product for yourself or for a gift. Use this for an event where you would take several photos, (birthday, anniv., communion, grad., shower, kid's party, amusement park, zoo, waterpark) or vacation!The finished product that you will get back will be a professionally edited photo-video DVD of the photos from "your" event with motion and special effects and the MUSIC OF YOUR CHOICE from I-tunes--not generic elevator music! And, this is just not your typical slideshow! In your package you get a memory card that fits in your camera (make sure you know which one to order by checking your digital camera, first); slip the card in your camera, take your pictures at the event (they allow 30, but you can add more if you'd like for a small fee); fill out the enclosed form with your name, address, choose a title (e.g., "Hawaii, 2008"); your choice of song and artist, put the memory card with your photos in the prepaid envelope, and drop it in the mail. Your custom DVD will be returned to you postage-prepaid, within 2 weeks, AND all of your photos will also be put on the DVD to download to your computer if you'd like to print or order photos, or to e-mail to your friends!! So, you get all of your photos back, too! The photos are edited for color correction, redeye, etc. by an editor! I just got my first one back of my vacation to the Ozarks and it is awesome. I will be using them for birthdays, vacations, showers, great new baby gift, etc. All for a great price. Fodeo is the easiest means I have found to create a video from photos set to the music of my choice. I organized a party for my daughters after final exams and all I had to do was give them a camera with a Fodeo chip and encourage them to take as many pictures as they wanted. Afterwards, I selected the best photos that I wanted to have on the video, select a favorite song and then mail it to Fodeo in the pre-addressed package. Two weeks later I had a great video that everyone enjoyed watching. Best of all, it was a great gift to give back to my daughters. I will definitely continue to use Fodeo for all of our special events.

1) What exactly am I buying?
You are buying a professionally-edited Custom Video Montage on DVD of 30 photos shot on this memory card. The form you fill out inside will help us customize your DVD to fit any celebration such as:

2) Will I receive the media card back with my DVD?
No. By reusing the media card, we are able to keep the cost down on the Fodeo product.

3) How many photos will this card hold?
200 photos or more. Most photo files are 2 mb - 2.5 mb, so this 512 mb card will easily hold 200 photos.

4) Can I use more than 30 photos in my montage?
Your initial purchase covers the cost of 30 photos. Once we receive your media card, we will email you a web link to order photos to be added to your montage if you'd like.

5) Do I get to keep all of the photos on this media card?
Yes. We will put all of your photos in a folder on the DVD. Your Fodeo DVD will play the Custom Video Montage in a DVD player or computer DVD drive. All of the photos can be emailed, printed or otherwise shared from your computer DVD drive.

Awesome product! My brothers and I were having a surprise 80th birthday party for our mom and I bought a FODEO memory card. Before she arrived we made sure we got pictures of all the guests, just casual stuff. When she got there, boy was she surprised, and we caught that too. More pictures of her with former neighbors, bridge group ladies, country club friends, and a big group photo. I sent the card in, (after I saved all the pictures to my computer just in case) and a few days later I got an email and a link to check my order. I chose this really good pic of mom and the four boys for the cover, added a bunch more pictures and 2 songs, it was pretty cheap and really easy. A week later I got the DVD, took it over to my mom's, and we sat down to watch it on TV together. Her reaction was better than the party. This is not like getting your pictures on a disc from Walmart. You just put it in your DVD player, hit play, and it runs like a movie. I'm buying another FODEO to take to my nephew's wedding next month.
